I am a doctoral candidate (ABD) of information science and linguistics at the University of North Texas. I am passionate about writing systems research and second language acquisition (SLA).
​
My research interests include writing systems, literacy acquisition, orthographic analysis, SLA, language instruction, and pedagogy for endangered language revitalization.
